Help for Heroes charity box stolen

November 21, 2012, 1:34 pm

An investigation has been launched after a charity collection tin was stolen in Somerset.

At 1pm on November 16, 2012 a man walked into Rode Post Office and stole a Help for Heroes collection box. The matter has been reported to us and we are conducting enquiries to identify the person responsible and recover the stolen property.

CCTV has been examined and a man has been identified who was in the area and might have information which helps the investigation.

This man, or anyone who recognises him, should contact PC Steve Hubbard on 101.
