Havengore, burglary

November 21, 2012, 1:47 pm

Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a mini-moto which was stolen during a burglary in Basildon.

The break-in happened when thieves broke into a shed in a garden of a residential property off Havengore between 4-6pm on Friday, November 16 and stole the vehicle.

Investigating Officer, Pc Jodie Kinsley, said: “The thieves kicked the bottom of the shed doors before bending them upwards enough to drag the mini-moto out. They left via the back gate.”

The vehicle has blue wheels and has an orange shell mud guard. It has a slightly-broken weld on the foot peg with a Phillips screwhead sticking out of the weld which does not allow the foot peg to lift up. The front mud-guard catches on the underneath of the frame which has left a cut in it.

Anyone with information in connection with this burglary is urged to contact detectives at Basildon police station on 101.
