Five arrested after midnight drugs raid

Five people were arrested following a midnight drugs raids at Walsall addresses last weekend.

Officers from Walsall police executed two drugs warrants at addresses on Bradford Place on Saturday evening (17 November) where three men and two women were arrested.

Two men, aged 31 and 34, were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods. A 33-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and a 23-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs.

All five were later bailed pending further enquiries.

Whilst at the addresses officers seized a quantity of items which are suspected to be stolen. This included TVs, Playstations, electrical goods and power tools.

Police Constable Jodie Allen, from Walsall Local Priorities Team, said: “We have released a photo of the suspected stolen items in a bid to locate the owners. If you have been a victim of burglary or theft recently and believe that these items could belong to you then please contact me by calling 101.”
