CCTV released after bus passenger is racially abused

Police have released CCTV images of two girls they want to speak to after a man was racially abused on a bus in Radford.

The 50-year-old passenger was subjected to  while travelling on the Travel Coventry number 13 bus through Jubilee Crescent at around 3.30pm on Thursday 1 November.

The first girl was described as white, 5ft 3ins tall, aged around 16, slim build and long blonde hair. She was wearing a white sports jacket.

The second girl was white, 5ft 3ins tall, aged around 16, of slim build and had brown hair. She was wearing a black sports jacket with red markings.

PC Chris Milburn, of Coventry police station, said: “This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated and we want anyone who can identify the two girls to come forward and contact us as soon as possible.”

Anyone who recognises the girls should call police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
