Burglary – Chalfont St Peter

November 28, 2012, 4:43 pm

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Chalfont St Peter.

The burglary occurred at a property currently under renovation. Between the builders leaving at 4.00pm on Monday (26/11) and returning at 8.45am on Tuesday (27/11) offenders gained entry to the house by forcing open a side door.

Once inside the house a number of tools and a large quantity of copper piping have been stolen. Stolen tools include: a breaker, two stroke disc cutters, two electric drills, a mini grinder and an angle grinder.

PC Gary Morton from Amersham police station said: “Due to the items that have been stolen, it would require at least a van to transport them as they would not fit into a car.

“If anyone has seen anything suspicious around the time of the incident please contact police.”

Anyone with information should contact PC Morton via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 101.
