Appeal for witnesses after man assaulted in Sandiacre

Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault took place in Sandiacre.

On Friday, November 2 between 10.15pm and 10.45pm a 17-year-old youth was walking from Derby Road onto King Edward Street when he was approached by three men.

One of the men punched the youth in the face and another punched him to the back of the head.

The assault took place directly outside Ladbrooks on King Edward Street. The offenders were described as white, between 17-20 years-old and were all wearing dark coloured hooded tops and tracksuit bottoms.

A man in a red car stopped to check if the victim was ok. Police would like to speak to this man.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt Liam Caldecott at Long Eaton Police Station using the non-emergency number 101.
