Appeal for Information, Assault, Hull

A 34 year old cyclist was assaulted after an incident which happened at the traffic lights on the corner of Boulevard and Hessle Road between 1045hrs and 1104hrs on Thursday 22 November 2012.

The cyclist stopped at the traffic lights, next to a maroon coloured vehicle. The cyclist and the vehicle set off at the same time, when it is alleged the vehicle pulled in front of the cyclist, without giving indication it intended to do so.

The cyclist shouted at the driver of the vehicle and as the vehicle stopped, the male driver is alleged to have got out and assaulted the cyclist, with what appeared to be a walking stick.

The male cyclist sustained slight facial injuries.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a white man aged in his 60s. He has grey hair and was wearing spectacles.

The driver of the vehicle and anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call Humberside Police tel 101 quoting crime reference 1943512.
