November 19, 2012, 11:59 am

Can you help police identify a man wanted in connection with an assault which happened inside Asda Supermaket, Carlton Street in Scunthorpe.

At around 1700hrs on Thursday 23 August a man entered the supermarket and was asked by a staff member for identification, in order to purchase an item. The man is then alleged to have started to throw a number of items around, before being asked to leave.

The members of staff did not sustain any injuries, and at present police enquiries have not been able to identify the man featured in the CCTV images.

Police are asking for the man in the images, and/or anyone who may be able to identify him to call Humberside Police tel 101 quoting crime reference 1926493.
