September 17, 2012, 9:00 am
Officers have named the man who died following a collision in Jenners lane, Northfield on Thursday 13 September as Andrew Buck.
The 22 year old from Druids Heath was riding a Red Honda VFR 750 that had been reported stolen from a burglary in Halesowen the previous day. He was not wearing a helmet when the motorcycle left the road.
Inspector Mark Watkins, from the Collision Investigation Unit, said: “A young man has tragically lost his life and we are looking to piece together the events that led to the collision. I would ask anybody that can provide any information regarding either the theft of the motorcycle or it”s movement up to the time of the collision to contact officers at the regional collision investigation unit on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
