Warwickshire: Police appeal for witnesses after mans jaw browken

Police are appealing for witnesses who were in Fever nightclub in Newdegate Street, Nuneaton between 0030 and 1am on Saturday 15 September who saw a scuffle break out on the dance floor.
During the scuffle, a man in his 20s fell to the floor and it is believed his head was stamped on. He suffered a broken jaw and was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire where he was operated on.
During surgery, two metal plates were fitted to his jaw.
As a precaution, his brain was also scanned to check for injury. He was discharged from hospital on 16 September.
DI 0457 Bob Jamieson said “This potentially life changing incident took only moments to occur but could have changed this mans life for ever . As it is, he will now have to bear the scars of this assault and adjust his life accordingly.
