Two men stole money from Salford golf club

Two men stole money from a golf club in Salford.
At around 8.45pm on Monday 3 September 2012, the offenders walked into the club house at Swinton Park Golf Club, off the East Lancashire Road.
They pushed passed one member of staff, causing him to fall to the floor, before picking up a cash tray.

They demanded he and another employee gave them more money before the workers managed to hide behind the shutters. They called police and both men left.
No one was injured.
Both men are described as being white and around six ft tall. One was of muscular build and wore a black balaclava. The other man wore a light blue hooded top that had the drawstrings pulled so it covered his face.
Detective Constable Justin Bryant from the Volume Crime Team said: “Both men struck after a wake was held at the club house so we believe this robbery had been planned and they knew there would be money in the building.
“I would ask anyone who may have seen two men hanging around the club house or near to the golf course to get in touch. The information you have may help us find who is responsible for this crime and stop them from committing something similar again.”
