Thames Valley: Assault – Maidenhead

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Fane Way, Maidenhead.
The victim, a 20-year-old man, was walking home around midnight on Tuesday 11 September when a red hatchback car pulled up alongside him headed in the same direction. Two men got out of the car approached the victim and after a brief conversation with the victim physically attacked him without provocation.
After the assault the two offenders drove away in their red hatchback vehicle. One of the offenders is white and one is black.

Suffering a serious injury to his chin, the victim was treated at Wexham Park Hospital and discharged the same day.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident or the red hatchback as it drove away. Anyone with any information should contact PC William Holbrook on the non-emergency number 101.
