Staffordshire Police: Hednesford crash appeal

A man was taken to hospital after he was in collision with a car in Hednesford yesterday, Wednesday 19 September.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened  in Uxbridge Street at around 9am.

The 26-year-old pedestrian, from Hednesford, was crossing the road near Our Lady Of Lourdes Church when he was in collision with a black BMW 116 being driven by a 46-year-old woman from Derby. The car was travelling up Uxbridge Street towards Hill Top.

The man was taken by ambulance to Stafford Hospital with a broken foot and collar bone.

Anyone who witnessed the collision should ring PC 5408 Phil Richardson at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 110 of 19 September.
