South Yorkshire: Police appeal for information after a robbery in Shalesmoor, Sheffield

Officers investigating a burglary at a factory in the Shalesmoor area of Sheffield are appealing for information and for witnesses to come forward.

The incident occurred between 3.00am and 5.00am on Friday, 14 September, 2012, at a factory on Percy Street in Shalesmoor. It is believed that the factory was open at the time and a person has sneaked in and entered the office. As a result of the incident a large amount of money was stolen with a vast amount in loose change.

The coins taken are in 10p, 20p and 50p denominations and were in clear plastic money bags with “RBS” printed on.

Anyone with any information about this incident or believes they may have witnessed this incident is urged to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 134 of the 14 September 2012. Alternatively, people can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
