September 25, 2012, 3:22 pm
Police are trying to trace a black car that was used to steal thousands of pounds of electrical equipment from a tour bus belonging to American soul group The Drifters.
The window of the bus was smashed while it was parked outside Wilford Farm Inn, in Clifton Lane, Wilford, at about 6.20pm on Monday 17 September.
A number of laptops, ipads, other electrical gadgets and personal belongings were taken from the vehicle while members of the band were inside the pub having dinner.

The Drifters were on their way to Scotland for the next leg of their tour.
Officers investigating the break-in believe the suspect loaded the stolen items into a black, five-door, Vauxhall Corsa, before driving away from the scene. The man is described as white, about 5ft 9ins tall and of medium build.
Witnesses, or anyone who may have seen the black car or the suspect in the area at the time of the incident, is urged to call PC John Meanwell on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
