Merseyside: CCTV Witness Appeal – Robbery – West Derby

The incident happened on 8 June, 2012 at around
10.30am when up to three offenders attacked a security guard delivering cash to the post office on Baycliffe Road.
The security guard was not injured during the incident but was left badly shaken.
The offenders left the area with a quantity of cash towards Stockbridge Village.
DI Tom Keaton said: “This was very distressing for the security guard who although unhurt was left very shaken.
“We are investigating the case and are appealing for information to trace all those involved.
“We have released a CCTV image of a man we believe may have information which could help us with our investigation and ask him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.”

- A 29-year-old man from Fazakerley has been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and robbery. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
