A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing arson with intent to endanger life and he remains in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Howard Millington said: “We are keen to stress that we are at the very early stages in our inquiries and we are keeping an open mind as to what has happened.
“The full details are not clear and I therefore do not want members of the public to think they do not need to tell us what they know because we have made an arrest.
“I would therefore ask that any witnesses, or anyone with any information, calls police as soon as possible.”
