Appeal after man stabbed in Tottenham

Detectives are appealing for information after a 59-year-old man was stabbed in Tottenham.

Police were called at 0144hrs on Saturday, 15 September to reports of a man stabbed in the street in Roslyn Road, Tottenham.

Officers attended and found the man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

He was taken by London Ambulance Service to an east London hospital in a serious condition.

He has since been able to leave hospital.

Investigating officer Det Con Matthew Lever said “This was a completely unprovoked attack on a man coming back from a night socialising. Random attacks on the public of this nature are thankfully a rare occurrence and I would urge anyone who knows anything to contact me immediately.”

“I would particularly like to speak to two youths seen leaving the scene in the direction of Braemar Road, N15 immediately after the incident”

There have been no arrests.
