Lincolnshire: Appeal for Owners of Recovered Stolen Items to come forward

September 26, 2012, 11:39 am

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information following the recovery of a number of stolen items. A jewellery box was recovered with a large amount of other stolen property from a dwelling burglary offence that occurred in Stamford, Lincolnshire on the 21st August 2012.

Officers believe that this jewellery box, found in the possession of the arrested people, is also from a house burglary. However the location and circumstances are unknown. Enquiries show that the people arrested had crossed a number of different counties prior to being arrested. So far, officers have not identified a victim reporting the loss of the items recovered. Therefore, it could be that the items were stolen from an offence committed elsewhere in the country.

Lincolnshire officers are urging anyone who can identify the owner of this jewellery box to come forward and contact them. The box contains a number of other readily identifiable pieces of jewellery not depicted. Also recovered was a scaletrix type set.

If anyone has information in relation to any of these items, please contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 (if calling from outside of Lincolnshire please listen to the options and ask to be transferred to Lincolnshire Police) asking for PC 465 Dave Sargent (david.sargent@lincs.pnn.police.uk).

Can you help identify these items below?
