Kent: Police appeal for witnesses after man assaulted in Herne Bay

Police investigating an assault in Herne Bay have released CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to.

The incident happened on Saturday, September 1 during the early hours of the morning when a group of three Asian men had left a nightclub in Herne Bay High Street.

As they walked up the road they were confronted by a group of about 20 men.

After an exchange of words the three men walked off but were followed and one of the men was assaulted.  He received a cut under his eye and was treated in hospital.

Anyone who recognises the men or has any information is asked to contact the Kent Police on 101 quoting ref ZY/24571/12.
