A man has been sentenced to two years in prison for an assault in which a four-year-old child suffered an adult bite to their leg.
25 year old Nicky Fox from Daltry Lane in Acton (London), previously of Ayletsfield Harlow, was charged with actual bodily harm the offence, which occurred in Turnford, Broxbourne in February 2012.
Nicky Foxs photo had been put out to the press as part of enquiries to trace him in July after he failed to return on bail on 30th March he was located in the Ealing area. Following his arrest he pled guilty to the offence at his first Remand hearing.

Detective Constable Helen Richmond from the Joint Child Protection Investigation Team based at Headquarters investigated the case. She said: “This was a serious assault on a defenceless 4-year-old child and the sentence passed reflects the seriousness of this case and will ensure other children are safeguarded.”
