September 25, 2012, 12:14 pm

Robbers threatened staff at a Peel Hall convenience store before stealing money from the till.

At about 10.30pm on Saturday 22 September 2012 three men walked in to a convenience store on Lomond Road.

One man was carrying a handgun in a black plastic bag, he pointed it at a member of staff and demanded money.

The employee handed over money out of the till and the three men ran out of the shop.

The three offenders all wore dark clothing and had their faces covered.

Detective Constable Melanie King from South Manchester CID, said: “Fortunately the victim was not hurt but he was left shaken.

“We are doing everything we can to find the offenders responsible and bring them to justice, and with the public’s help we can find these men and show them that armed robbers will face the full force of the law.”
