Essex: Three people charged in connection with stabbing in Colchester

Three people have been charged in connection with the stabbing of a 38-year-old man in Colchester.

Police were called to an address at Tynedale Square at 9.25pm on Monday September 24, 2012 following reports of a disturbance and found a man with stab wounds.

A woman and two men have been charged in connection with the incident and will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, September 26, 2012.

Rebecca Chapman, 28, of Tynedale Square, Colchester, Will Jackson, 40, of Enville Way, Colchester and Daniel Churchman, 22, of Forge Street Dedham, have all been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

A 37-year-old man from Colchester was bailed until November 25, 2012 pending further enquiries.

The injured man is still being treated at Colchester General Hospital.
