Derbyshire: Suspected drugs found during car search in Ripley

A man has been arrested after suspected heroin was found in his car by police during a search.

Officers stopped the car on Derby Road, Ripley yesterday (Thursday, September 20) and found the suspected drugs on the 31-year-old driver.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin with intent to supply and has been released on police bail pending analysis of the drugs.

Anyone with information about drugs in their neighbourhood should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
