Officers want to trace the man after designer spectacles with a total value of about £5,000 were taken from three opticians.

Thirteen pairs were found to be missing from Spectacular opticians, in the High Street, Chatteris, on September 19. A further three were taken from nearby Selby and Taylor the same day.

Three pairs were also taken from Spectacular opticians in High Street, Ely, the previous day.

PCSO Martin Bogunovic, investigating, said: “We are keen to speak to the man captured on CCTV as we believe he may have vital information that could assist our investigation.”

Anyone with any information should call PCSO Bogunovic on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
