Avon and Somerset Police: Officers hurts during arrest

We’re appealing for information following an incident in Yeovil in which two police officers received injuries.
At around 6pm last night (Tuesday September 18th) officers attended Highfield Road, Yeovil following reports of a man in a car who would not leave an address.
As the police officers approached the car he was in, they received injuries. Both were taken to hospital where one was treated for minor burns to his arm and another for an injury to the eye.

Fire was also called to this incident.
A 53 year old man has been arrested and remains in police custody.
