Arrests made in connection with air weapon shootings in Rotherham

A 19-year-old man from Swinton has been arrested in connection with an incident on Herringthorpe Valley Road, Herringthorpe on 8 September where a 17-year-old girl is believed to have been injured by an air weapon from a passing vehicle.
The man has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Two further arrests have been made in connection with incidents that occurred between 5 September 2012 and 9th September 2012, involving air weapons being fired from an additional vehicle in Rawmarsh. A 20-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, both from Rawmarsh have been arrested and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
