Appeal following an incident in Fairlands Valley Showground

Detectives in Stevenage are asking members of the public to assist them in their investigations following reports of an incident in Fairlands Valley Showground on Tuesday, September 18.

Between 12pm and 12.15pm the victim, a 43-year-old woman, was walking her dog along the footpath close to Moats Wood when she saw a man exposing himself in the bushes.

The offender is described as a man of South-East Asian appearance who was of a stocky build and around 5ft 5ins tall. He had short light/mousey brown hair and was wearing a jumper, jeans and a light coloured sun visor.

PC Kieran Doyle from the Local Crime Unit in Stevenage is investigating and said: “It may be that other people have seen him and not yet contacted police. I would urge anyone who was in the area at the time and may have any information about the offender to call police.”
