The family of a man who died following a road traffic collision in Clayton have paid tribute to him.
Gavin Boyce, who was 29 and from Stalybridge, was riding a Suzuki motorbike when he was involved in a collision with a Ford Focus on Ashton Road West, at about 7.55pm on Tuesday 21 August 2012.
He was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary with multiple injuries but has subsequently died. An investigation has now been launched.

Gavin had two children and lived with his fiancée. In a statement, his family said: “Gavin was the most generous man this world could hold. A loving fiancée, son, dad, brother, uncle and a true loyal friend to so many.
“Too good for this world, that’s why he’s gone to a better place. Precious moments with Gavin will stay in our hearts forever. He was fondly remembered and so sadly missed by all who knew him. One in a million.”
Police Sergeant Daniel Byrne said: “Our sympathies are with Gavin’s family at this tragic time, as they try to come to terms with the loss of their loved one.
“An investigation is ongoing into the circumstances surrounding this collision, and I am anxious to hear from anyone who saw the collision or anyone who was driving on Ashton New Road beforehand.”
