Police release images of two men after paint was poured on a car in Stalybridge

August 14, 2012, 11:49 am

Police have released images of two men after paint was poured on a car in Stalybridge.

Sometime between 12pm on Tuesday 29 May 2012 and 8.45am on Wednesday 30 May 2012, offenders poured silver and gold enamel paint on a silver Jaguar X-type car that was parked on Brushes Road before they ran off.

Now police have released CCTV images of those wanted in connection with the crime.

Police Constable Tony Lawton from Stalybridge south Neighbourhood Policing Team said:  “The offenders have showed a complete disregard for the owners property and for reasons only known to themselves, they have decided to pour paint on the vehicle.

“This has upset the victim and caused £5,000 worth of damage.

“I would ask people to take a good look at the images and if they recognise who this person is, to contact us as soon as possible.”
