Now police have released CCTV images of those wanted in connection with the crime.
Police Constable Tony Lawton from Stalybridge south Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “The offenders have showed a complete disregard for the owners property and for reasons only known to themselves, they have decided to pour paint on the vehicle.
“This has upset the victim and caused £5,000 worth of damage.
“I would ask people to take a good look at the images and if they recognise who this person is, to contact us as soon as possible.”
