Police are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a missing 14-year-old girl.

Aneta Zakova was last seen at Manchester Arndale Centre at 4.30pm on 22 August 2012.

She is originally from the Czech Republic and is described as 5ft 2in tall, of slim build and has brown hair. One side of her head is shaved and the other side she has shoulder length hair.

When she was last seen, she was wearing a red body warmer with grey sleeves, a hooded top, brown chinos and feather earrings.

She is known to have friends and family in Longsight area of Manchester and Bradford in Yorkshire.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen Aneta or know where she is to contact them.

Officers are also making a direct appeal to Aneta herself and are asking her to get in touch to let them know she is safe and well.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
