Ian Brady: No letter Found So Far

It is reported by the  Press Association that a letter addressed to Winnie Johnson has been returned to Ian Brady.  GMP are yet to  establish the whereabouts of this letter if indeed one exists. A search  was conducted at Ashworth Hospital  and no documentation relating to this matter has been found.

Police are still in early stages of these inquiries and expect the examination of  documents that have been seized will continue into next week.
