Greater Manchester Police is appealing to trace the next of kin of a man who died in a nursing home.

George Swankie died on 3 June 2012 at the Victoria Nursing Home on Anson Road in Manchester.

There are no suspicious circumstances but officers are trying to find his next of kin.

It is believed that George grew up in Glasgow and was married with two children. He may have also spent time in Preston or Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
