A woman has been arrested after a man was found dead in a flat in Rusholme

A woman has been arrested after a man was found dead in a flat in Rusholme.

At 5.15am on Friday 31 August 2012, police were called to the address on Dickenson Road following reports of a disturbance.

Officers attended and found that a man had suffered serious injuries as well as a broken leg, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.

A section of Dickenson Road, at the junction of Birch Lane and Birch Hall Lane, has been closed to traffic while inquiries, which are ongoing, continue.
