At about 1.30pm on Tuesday 15 May 2012, a man knocked on the door of a 75-year-old man’s house in Breightmet.
He offered to do some work on the man’s house and the victim let him in so he could find a pen and paper to take down his details.
The offender asked the victim to get him a glass of water. While the victim was in the kitchen, the offender stole cash from the victimâ¿¿s wallet and left a short time later.

“I would urge anyone who may recognise MacDonald, or knows where he is, to call us as soon as possible.”
